Youth will participate weekly in mental health resiliency groups to learn at least 4 life skills monthly surrounding areas but not limited to

  • identifying life stressors, etc




Parenting With A Purpose (PWAP)

This Parent & Child Communication workshop includes thought-provoking discussions, materials and practical strategies to support parents.

The workshop seeks to give parents and other caring adults the knowledge and skills they need to begin and maintain two-way communication with their children or adolescents about bullying, educational deficits, safety, abuse, sex, sexuality, drugs, and relationships. The six week workshops are 60 minutes long; th first three weeks of the workshop will focus on school age children ages 5-12 years. The last three weeks will focus on adolescents, ages 13-19 years. Workshops include activities and breakout sessions for parents and their children.
